The lyrics to "Mr President" are inspired by my cousin, who was serving in the military at the time I wrote this song. The song just talks about family members going away to war and the difficulties and struggles for both the soldier and their loved ones.

Raised in Hanson, Massachusetts, Tommy Vieira, 26, was born to perform. Tommy began his music career at the young age of 6 when he was introduced to the drums, at 10 he started on the guitar. When only 12 years old Tommy started his first band which he played in until he started 57 Deep in 2001. Tommy belonged to 57 Deep for 8 years as the lead vocalist and guitarist. While obtaining his bachelor's in Criminal Justice from Bridgewater State College, Tommy wrote his first original c.d. "Acoustic Hangover." After 57 Deep, Tommy played in the cover band Sage while continuing to create his own originals and play them solo in Boston. Tommy's dream is to do what he loves, travel the country playing his music and getting his powerful words out to the world. Recently Tommy moved to Nashville, TN in hopes of furthering his music career. His stage presence and passion for music is mesmerizing and is evident to all when he is performing. As Tommy's idol, Steven Tyler, once said, "I have to get inspired by something that touches my soul, or rocks my soul." Tommy is devoted to his music and he will definitely touch your soul.
