So I've learned that I just gotta take it day by day Get in my car turn the radio up and let the music play And just Go, Go Down that road anyway So don't rush turn the radio up And take it Day by Day by Day Verse 1: Al-J Rap verse (Chorus) Verse 2: I saw the sunrise for the first time a little while ago now And it turned me right around I had hard choice or no voice staring clearly back at me And I knew that I'd been found (yeah) Did you know there's about a million People on their knees right now Trying to get to you that feeling Everything is working out So if there's nothing left to fear Then why are we all so weighed down? Get your feet off of the ceiling Find yourself on solid ground (Chorus) Bridge: It takes a while to sink in That this life is just a dream Kinda hard to keep up In this fast paced reality So put the top down, feel the breeze Put your favorite song on high Just let the road clear your head Sit back, enjoy the ride (Chorus)
2.
Verse 1: In the rear view judging yourself is so easy We tear down our past then try to walk forward while we’re looking back And there’s heart ache when we fight for the things that will hurt us Push away friends that’d never desert us and our spirit bends with each step we take but it never breaks Pre Chorus: They say we’re just kids with nowhere to go but we’ve walked through fire and we’ve come to know Chorus: It’s the fall outs and the battles the questions burning inside These moments lead to finding out who stands by your side There’s words we wish we all said and there’s choices that we regret But a failure is just the first act of a beautiful comeback Verse 2: Gonna get there Just a mile to go Hurdle jumpin’ Gonna put on a show For the world With the light on my face Yeah I’m gonna soar right out of this place Pre Chorus: They say we’re just kids with nowhere to go but we’ve walked on the coals we already know Chorus: It’s the fallouts and the battles the questions burning inside These moments lead to finding out who stands by your side There’s words we wish we all said and there’s choices that we regret But a failure is just the first act of a beautiful comeback Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa Chorus: It’s the fallouts and the battles the questions burning inside These moments lead to finding out who stands by your side There’s words we wish we all said and there’s choices that we regret But a failure is just the first act of a beautiful comeback Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa

Walkin around tryin' to live your life like everything's normal and everything's right and it doesn't matter if it's dark or light and everything doesn't get quiet at night Afraid to remember, afraid to forget You think there's a wrong way or right way to feel it You'd leave your heart open but you think you might spill it Cousin I've been there before It's hard to imagine there's anything else or anything more Do I do this for you, do I do it for me I suppose you're a mirror and I guess I will see all that lies underneath all the lies I believe What would you say if I promised again that this hell's not forever, yes I'm sure it will end They say it's eternal, but they say that in fear If they said it in love, would it all disappear Cousin I've been there before I said it in love then I laughed at myself 'til I cried to my core And I'm here to tell you there's more So you do what you will honey please understand that the water was froze but the river still ran So open your hear when you can I know you'll open your heart when you can

This is a vision for the colorblind and non-believers I see your face in the crowd and I know this is where I belong Don't worry baby, a wise man told me once 'Nothing is as bad as it may first seem' Breathe easy, we're in this together Funny the way it works out I was just a face, you were just another loud girl to me I took you from that place, i say This is the way its supposed to me You're my best good friend, summer dies, I say Breathe easy, we're in this together This is a vision for the colorblind and non-believers: Crazy at nineteen Breathe easy, we're in this together

EXPLICIT CONTENT Though the southern moon has balked here in vision and in keeping crow may cavern, caw and mock there's no vision for the weeping she may beg, and i may at times bend my knees to take inside the smaller piece, the cock divine psychic seen, and mostly mine she will press her body hard against me i will sum our victories in light and i wake up, and i forget hey... hallelujah hey... hallelujah hey... hallelujah i'm on my own side she may beg and i may at times bend my knees to take inside the smaller piece, the cock divine psychic seen and mostly mine and i wake up, and i forget hey hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah

Come my friend, it seems like you’re havin a day It seems like the weight that you bare, is more than you take I don’t cry when Im not alone, she tried Lay down your head my friend, don’t go it alone I know sometimes, sometimes there is never enough Sometimes the most we can give, is the least that you need How can I even begin to try You don’t have to ask, my friend Ill stay by your side Lay your head down, rest for awhile, and Ill pick you up I will take it awhile Lay your head down, my friend lay on down I’ve been walking the streets at night Just tryin to get it right And its hard to sleep with so many around, You know I don’t like being stuck in the ground And the streets don’t change but maybe the names, I ain’t got time for the pain cause I need you, Oh my love how I need you Oh my love how I need.
7.
How can I open up, When I drop my guard I get let down Am I not enough, Do I have to prove you should stick around Do you see it in my eyes That I'm sick of all this pain It's not easy when it all comes down and, I'm crying out But I'm still breathing, yeah I'll be okay I just need some space We all have our scars, so what, that's what makes us who we are So keep believing, when it's not easy Why do I play your games I shouldn't have to change who I really am No matter what I say I'm still on the outside looking in Soon your gonna see me rise Like a phoenix from the flames It's not easy when it all comes down and, I'm crying out But I'm still breathing, yeah I'll be okay I just need some space We all have our scars, so what, that's what makes us who we are So keep believing, when it's not easy Woah Somewhere in all this mess I'm gonna find my strength I'm over pleasing you This time I'm walking away It's not easy when it all comes down and, I'm crying out But I'm still breathing, yeah It's not easy when it all comes down and, I'm crying out But I'm still breathing, yeah I'll be okay I just need some space We all have our scars, so what, that's what makes us who we are So keep believing, when it's not easy So keep believing, when it's not easy

La la la la, la la ... (VERSE 1) There are many like you Who feel they don't belong Every day is a struggle Not sure if you'll make it through I know its hard But please don't give up Know there is hope And that you're good enough (CHORUS) Y - A - N - A Just say it with me You Are Not Alone Say it until you believe (VERSE 2) This is for the outcast For the ones who don't fit in For those who hide behind a smile Who are screaming in their skin Don't suffer in silence Its okay to seek help Wanting to get better is the first step Don't retreat inside yourself (CHORUS) Y - A - N - A Just say it with me You Are Not Alone Say it until you believe (BREAKDOWN) Its strength in numbers Together we stand tall You Are Not Alone Together we won't fall I know how you feel Like nothing is real That no one understands This song is a helping hand ... (CHORUS) Y - A - N - A Just say it with me You Are Not Alone Say it until you believe
9.
I am not a real man, I'll tell you why It's not the reason you are thinking of Lean in close, I'll share with you a secret No one is a real man at all Chorus: Pinocchio, you are a boy it doesn't take no fairy blue much less a therapist, three doctors and a knife to cut your flesh and make you real you are as real as dreams come true I'm tired of tracing one straight line back through our lives Let's crack up this geode they call boy and girl to see what pretty stones that it elides Kinda like this geode there is more to us than ever possibly could meet the eye I think I've found a way to make it through I'll let you in, I've got a tip or two we get together, organize, it's true We've got a lot of work to do Chorus I am not particularly interested in being illegible for its own sake I have been illegible to most everyone Relative to that, manhood is cake It feels much better to be seen each day sometimes it's hard to keep the wolves at bay who say forget who you were yesterday, come out with only boys to play Chorus I am not a real man, I'll tell you why It's not the reason you are thinking of Lean in close, I'll share with you a secret No one is a real man at all

Itsy bitsy little girl, it kills me every time They call me Psycho, you Psycho! I better, better be prepared For all the bullies and the stares, Or fight now, I better fight now! I think it’s time you took a look at Psycho, now Time to show the real me You'd be surprised at how delicious I am now And how free I just wanna jump in Makes me wanna jump right into life Big shot, take over the world, it kills ya every time You hear my name now, this is my game now I make you, make you eat your words And every time you laughed at me I shine now and that’s alright now I just wanna jump in Makes me wanna jump, right into life I think it’s time you took a look at Psycho, now Time to show the real me You'd be surprised at how delicious I am now And how free I just wanna jump in Makes me wanna jump right into life

Mama, it is raining leaves, It's snowing leaves, They're falling down, I love the way she says that and, I love this part of town. I love being surrounded by so many kinds of trees, October on the west side reminds me to fall back east, 'cept I don't feel like falling for, the feeling that I've gotta fall, I feel like standing tall, and getting all of my ducks in a row, I'm sure some times I'll waver, but I'll savour good intentions I know, that progress not perfection is the only way to go, If I wanna grow, Gotta prove my soul, Shed the leaves, 'til I am wet and naked, Cold and rainy, So, there's room for those, Things that wanna grow, That are beautiful, and amazing. The days that seem, The most dreary, Are perfect for being creative and cosy, As long as we sing, Until the Spring, This Winter can be, A most magical thing, And our trunks will be, Solid and strong, Even after, The leaves are all gone, Our trunks will be, Solid and strong, Even after, The leaves are all gone. Mama, it is raining leaves, It's snowing leaves, They're falling down, I love the way she says that and, I love this part of town, Mama, it is raining leaves, It's snowing leaves, They're falling down, I love the way she says that and, I love this part of town...

There’s so much I can’t take away your little heart has been so afraid. I never did you right Knew what I was doing the whole time. Someday when you finally take the risk, you’ll see how beautiful you are. I promise that I won’t hold you down, you’ve been on the bottom for way to long. It’s time to get up, time to get up, time to get up. Don’t listen to me or anything cold don’t heed my advice, I have been wrong. All that’s left to go is this thin, thin coat. You can’t call it love if I was never any good for you, fighting the truth with a line of chasers. Try and promise to let me go, just turn down the volume in your head if you have to. It’s time to get up, time to get up, time to get up. Don’t listen to me or anything cold Don’t heed my advice, I have been wrong All that’s left to go is this thin, thin coat.

All's undone Oh I know it’s all you see I've lost my charm Not unharmed Seems you've won my heart, and oh I cry with outstretched arms Don't turn your eyes It’s all right We'll be fine Just hold on tight Don't lose sight We're almost home The well's run dry Nothing left, But that's all I needed You turn my sighs Into laughter You've flooded me with hope I'm falling on my knees

about

Ultimately, the goal is to help people of all ages struggling with these mental issues by teaching them to cope through positive music. Though we cannot gurantee this mix will make the lives of anyone easier, our hope is simply to remind the listener to Hold On Another Day and believe in their own empowerment.
