Alain de Courtenay is a Chicago based musician. In 2008 Alain opened for DeVotchKa on their Midwest tour. Currently, he is promoting his debut album, "The Pregnant Letter", comprised mainly of acoustic-folk and soul-inspired tracks. In addition, he is finalizing new material for his second album to be released in 2012. Alain is also one half of the folk duo, Little Light, along with fellow songwriter, Gia Margaret. Together, they have released an EP, entitled "The Winter EP", now available on iTunes.
